This post is no exception.
As the title states, today's topic is managing the emotions of being a new entrepreneur.
This may not sound as "sexy" as writing a VSL or increasing conversion rates but it is related to literally every aspect of the process and can be extremely debilitating if not handled properly.
You're probably saying to yourself "Aright, bro. We get it. Emotions Shmemotions. But what are we actually talking about here?"
What I'm talking about are:
The fear of pushing things live
The gut punch when you get your first negative review
The anxiety when an issue occurs with inventory, product, packaging, or website
The shame when you forgot to do something important or have a blatant error in something you put out to the world that could've been avoided
The ruined afternoon because some entitled asshole spoke to you like a medieval peasant about customer service
The paralyzing anxiety of having 10 high-priority things to do so you do none of them and play video games (just me? hehe)
It's impossible to list every scenario but this is a decent list of some of the most egregious offenders.
